Work Included: Fabrication and installation of replicated historic marble; rehabilitation and <br /> reuse of original historic marble for wainscoting, marble counteltops and marble toilet stall <br /> partitions as shown on Drawings. <br /> <br /> 1. Fabrication and installation of replicated historic marble shall match original historic <br /> marble in all aspects of composition and fabrication <br /> <br /> 2. Rehabilitation work shall include repair and re-use of salvaged original historic <br /> marble toilet stalls. All repair and replacement work shall match original marble in <br /> all aspects of composition, fabrication and appearance. <br /> <br />1.02 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: <br /> <br /> A. Requirements of General and supplementary conditions and Division 01 apply to all work <br /> in this section. <br /> <br /> B. Requirements of Section 02050 DEMOLITION apply to all work in this section. <br /> <br /> C. Applicator shall have a minimum of 5 years verifiable experience in the fabrication of <br /> marble countertops, stalls and/or paneling. <br /> <br />1.03 SUBMITFALS: <br /> <br /> 1. Samples: Provide samples of marble proposed for replica fabrication for Architects <br /> review. Resubmit samples as requested by Architect until acceptable application, <br /> color, and texture is achieved. <br /> <br /> 2. Shop Drawings: Submit shop drawings of fabrication and installation details to <br /> Architect for review and approval. <br /> <br />1.04 JOB CONDITIONS: <br /> <br /> A. Do not commence marble acquisition, fabrication or installation until receipt of written <br /> approval of Samples and Submittals by Consu'uction Manager. <br /> <br /> C. Do not install marble components during adverse jobsite conditions. Coordinate <br /> sequencing of work with Construction Manager. <br /> <br /> Section 04920 <br /> Page 1-3 <br /> <br /> <br />
