Weather Conditions: Do not proceed with installation of liquid sealants under <br /> unfavorable weather conditions. Install elastomeric sealants when temperature <br /> is in lower third of temperature range defined by manufacturer for <br /> installation. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 MATERIALS: <br /> <br /> A. General Sealer Performance Requirements: Provide colors indicated or, if not <br /> otherwise indicated, as selected by Architect from manufacturer's standard <br /> colors. Select materials for compatibility with joint surfaces and other indicated <br /> exposures, and except as otherwise indicated select modulus of elasticity and <br /> hardness or grade recommended by manufacturer for each application <br /> indicated. Where exposed to foot traffic, select marketing materials of <br /> sufficient strength and hardness to withstand stiletto heel traffic without damage <br /> or deterioration of sealer system. <br /> <br />2.02 ELASTOMERIC SEALANTS: <br /> <br /> A. Sealant No. 1 One-Component Polysulfide or Polyurethane Sealant: <br /> Complying with FS TI-S-O0230C, Class A, Type II (non-sag). <br /> <br /> B. Sealant No. 2 - One-Component or Multi-Component Polyurethane Sealant: <br /> Complying with FS TT-S-00227E or FS Tr-s-oo230, Class A, Type I (self <br /> leveling). <br /> <br /> C. Sealant Ho. 3- Single-Component Silicone Rubber Sealant: Complying with <br /> either ASTM C 920, Type S, Class 25, Grade KS, or FS Tr-s-oo1543, <br /> Class A, Type Non-sag. <br /> <br /> D. Sealant No. 4 - One-component or muiti-component polyurethane traffic grade <br /> sealant, complying with ASTM c 920, Type S or M, Grade P, Class 25, Use T. <br /> <br />2.03 NON-ELASTOMERIC SEALANT: <br /> <br /> A. Sealant No. 5- Acrylic-Emulsion Sealant: Acrylic-emulsion or latex robber- <br /> modified acrylic-emulsion sealant compound; permanently flexible, non-staining <br /> and non-bleeding. <br /> <br />2.04 JOINT FIlJ.ERS, PAVEMENT TYPE: <br /> <br /> A. Bituminous and Fiber Joint Filler: Provide resilient and non- extruding type pm- <br /> molded bituminous impregnated fiberboard units complying with ASTM D <br /> 1751, FS HH-F-341, Type I, and AASHTO M 213.-Provide one of the <br /> following products, or approved equal: <br /> <br /> 1.
