Product Data: Submit door manufacturer's product data for each type of new and <br /> new-replica wood door, including details of core and edge construction, lrim <br /> for openings and louvers, and finishing specifications for factory finish. <br /> <br /> 2. Shop Drawings: Submit shop drawings indicating loca~on and size of each door, <br /> elevation of each kind of door, details of construction, location and extent of <br /> hardware blocking, fLre ratings and other pertinent data. <br /> <br /> C. Samples: Submit samples for the following: <br /> <br /> 1. Finished Doors: Submit samples of door faces representing typical range of color <br /> and grain. Also submit strips of solid wood 3" x 1'-0" of species to be <br /> used for exposed edges, trim and other solidwood components. <br /> <br />1.04 NEW DOOR PRODUCT DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING. <br /> <br /> A. Protect wood doors during Uansit, storage and handling to prevent damage, soiling <br /> and deterioration. Comply with requirements of referenced ANSI standard and <br /> recommendations of NWMA pamphlet "How to Store, Handle, Finish, Install, and <br /> Maintain Wood Doors", as well as manufacturer's instructions as necessary to preserve <br /> manufacturer's warranty. <br /> <br /> 1. Package doors at factory prior to shipping using manufacturer's standard method. <br /> <br /> B. Identify each door with individual opening numbers which correlate with designation system <br /> used on shop drawings for door, flames, and hardware, using temporary, removable or <br /> concealed markings. <br /> <br />1.05 SPECIFIED PRODUCT WARRANTY: <br /> <br /> A. Door Manufacturer's Warranty: Submit written agreement on door manufacturer's <br /> standard form signed by Manufacturer, Installer and Contractor, agreeing to repair <br /> or replace defective doors which have warped (bow, cup or twist) or which show <br /> telegraphing of core construction in face veneers, or do not conform to tolerance <br /> limitations of NWMA and AWI. Warranty must be valid for a period of not less than 1 <br /> year from date of completion of the project. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br /> <br /> A. Existing Doors: Existing original doors which are scheduled for rehabilitation as per the <br /> Drawings shall be repaired and restored utilizing the wood restoration methods and <br /> materials specified in Section 06700 - Wood Restoration. <br /> <br /> 1.
