Upon delivery of the finish hardware to the jobsite by the hardware supplier, the <br /> Contractor shall have a responsible person check in the material at the place for <br /> storage. The hardware shall be pmtected from damage at all times, both <br /> prior to and after installation. <br /> <br />1.06 QUALITY CONTROL STANDARDS <br /> <br /> A. All finish hardware locksets, passage sets or privacy sets designated for restoration and <br /> reuse shall be restored and installed by a licensed locksmith experienced in historic <br /> l~mish hardware. All other hardware designated for restoration and reuse shall be <br /> restored by sub-contractor experienced in the restoration of metal finish hardware. <br /> <br /> B. All new and replica finish hardware locksets, passage sets or privacy sets shall be <br /> installed by a licensed locksmith <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 FRqlSH HARDWARE: <br /> <br /> A. All finish hardware shall be as manufactured by Baldwin, Inc., or Architect approved <br /> equal. <br /> <br /> B. All finish hardware shall be solid oil-robbed bronze or solid antique brass. <br /> <br /> C. After submittal approval, Architect shall make final selection of style numbers from <br /> accepted manufacturer for each installation location and hardware group and as required <br /> to meet applicable historic guidelines. In those instances where existing historic <br /> hardware is in repairable condition and designated for re-use, such units shall be <br /> removed, restored and re-installed in original location. <br /> <br />2.02 HARDWARE SCHEDULE: <br /> <br /> A. All doors and cabinets/drawers shall require the installation of complete finish hardware <br /> systems, as designated in the following Hardware Groups and as designated on <br /> Drawings. <br /> <br /> Group 1: New, Historically Compatible Hardware <br /> <br /> a. Mortise Locks <br /> b. Metal Threshold & Weather-stripping <br /> c. Door Bumpers and Closers <br /> d. Strikes <br /> e. Panic Hardware <br /> f. Hinges <br /> g. Kick plates <br /> h.
