Sequencing Schedule: Do not install carpet until ail wet work and painting is <br /> completed receipt of notice to proceed from Construction Manager. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 CARPET <br /> A. Commercial grade, contract quaiity, woven level-looped nylon carpet, as selected by <br /> Architect., I/2" maximum thickness. <br /> <br /> B. Commercial Grade, 1/2" non-combustible foam pad. <br /> <br />2.02 ACCESSORIES <br /> A. Seaming Accessories: As recommended by carpet manufacturer. <br /> <br /> B. Binder Bar: <br /> 1. Extruded Aluminum: Brass textured finish, same as Wm. L. Bonnell Co., <br /> Inc.'s "Trimedge"; Kinkead Industries, Inc.'s "Kintrim"; B&T Metals Co.'s <br /> "Chromedge"; or equai. Thresholds and transitions to adjacent surfaces shall <br /> be 1/2" maximum height with 1:2 bevel. <br /> <br /> C. Adhesive: Waterproof cement type, formaldehyde-free, as recommended by carpet <br /> manufacturer. <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.01 INSPECTION A. Examine areas to receive carpet and verify that surfaces are suitable for installation. <br /> B. Do not begin installation until unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected. <br /> <br />3.02 PREPARATION <br /> A. Subfloor: Prior to installation, repair minor floor irregularities/n-kind with matching <br /> T&G wood. Thoroughly clean, leaving no dirt or grit. <br /> B.
