Work Included: Restoration of existing interior plaster. <br /> <br /> 1. Restoration work shall include in-kind replacement of damaged and <br /> inadequately attached plaster and substrate, as well as repair (patching <br /> and matching) of firmly attached existing plaster. <br /> <br /> 2. The work includes removal of existing irreparable plaster and <br /> substrate. <br /> <br /> 3. All new interior plaster used for repair and replacement shall match <br /> existing plaster in all aspects of composition, application and <br /> appearance, unless otherwise directed by Architect. <br /> <br /> 4. The work does not include the removal of materials containing lead <br /> based paint or asbestos. Lead based paint and asbestos containing <br /> materials removal will be executed by an independent hazardous materials <br /> abatement contractor. All Contractors, their employees and agents shall <br /> make themselves familiar with which materials in the building have been <br /> identified as hazardous materials and take appropriate precautions to avoid <br /> exposure to these materials. If in the course of work, materials are <br /> uncovered which are suspected of containing hazardous materials, <br /> Contractor shall report same in writing immediately to Owner. <br /> <br /> 5.
