Samples: Prepare field samples for Architect's review of materials, application, <br /> texture and color: <br /> <br /> 1. Field Samples: Plaster subcontractor shall prepare four(4) 4-foot by 8 <br /> foot mock-ups of plaster applications specified, including substrates. <br /> Resubmit samples as requested by Construction Manager until <br /> acceptable application, color, and texture is achieved. <br /> <br />1.03 JOB CONDITIONS: <br /> <br /> A. Do not commence plaster repair until written approval of Field Mock-ups by <br /> Architect. <br /> <br /> B. Do not begin application of plaster until substrate repair and/or replacement <br /> is completed and approved by Construction Manager. <br /> <br /> C. Do not apply plaster during inclement weather or when inside humidity exceeds <br /> 85%, inside temperature is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit, or inside temperature is <br /> above 80 degrees Fahrenheit.. <br /> <br /> D. Locate all suspected loose, inadequately bonded plaster. Check for adherence to <br /> substrate and cracking. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 MATERIALS: <br /> <br /> A. Plaster Finishes: Provide all materials required to replicate compositionof <br /> existing plaster finishes, including but not limited to hydrated lime, ASTM C-207 <br /> Type S; Portland Cement, ASTM C-150, Type II, non-staining; siliceous quartz <br /> and feldspar sand, ASTM C-144, to match existing as nearly as possible, passed <br /> through #8 screen; gypsum plaster; fresh, potable, clean water; in proportions as <br /> necessary to match existing plaster. <br /> <br /> Section 09910 <br /> Page 2-7 <br /> <br /> <br />
