As specified in Divisions 00 and 01 apply to all work in this Section.. <br /> <br />1.02 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> <br /> A. Project Delivery Methodology: The owner has designated a Construction Manager to act <br /> on its behalf with regard to the construction coordination of all prime constructors, sub- <br /> prime contractors, and sub-contractors under contract to the Owner for execution of <br /> various portions of the Work. Integral to the construction coordination is the <br /> coordination of communication and decision making between the Contractors, Owner <br /> and Architect by the Construction Manager, hence all communication between <br /> contractors and the Owner or Architect must be submitted to the Construction Manager. <br /> <br /> 1.03 WORK INCLUDED IN CONTRACT: <br /> <br /> A. All Contractors shall be skilled and experienced in the use and interpretation of plans and <br /> specifications, have carefully reviewed the plans and specifications for this project and <br /> found them free of ambiguities and sufficient for proposal purposes and construction. <br /> Further, he has carefully examined the site of work and, from his own observations, <br /> has satisfied himself as to the nature and location of the work, the character, <br /> quality and quantity of materials, and the difficulties likely to be encountered, and <br /> other items which may affect the performance of the work. He has based his <br /> proposal solely on these documents and observations and has not relied in any way on <br /> any explanation or interpretation, oral or written, from any other source other than the <br /> Architect. <br /> <br /> B. Figured dimensions shall always take precedence over measurements by scale. In any <br /> case of discrepancy between the figures, or the figures and scale, the inevitable <br /> discrepancies between scaled or figured dimensions and the actual dimensions of existing <br /> historic materials and/or building components, or discrepancies between the Drawings <br /> <br /> Section 01000 <br /> Page 1-5 <br /> <br /> <br />
