Any work done before such adjustment is <br /> made shall, if the Architect so orders, be replaced with work satisfactory to him. <br /> Detail drawings will be furnished for such portions of the work the Architect may <br /> desire to explain more fully. Contractors may request in writing of the Architect <br /> that which he may deem necessary, and such request made a sufficient length of <br /> time (minimum seven working days) in advance so as to insure against any delay in <br /> the progress of the work. <br /> <br /> C. The Drawings and Specifications shall be carried out in letter, intent and spirit, and <br /> they shall cooperate so that all work of any class covered by this specification, <br /> shown in the drawings and not mentioned in this specification, or vice versa, shall <br /> be done the same as if both are specified and shown. <br /> <br /> D. Where work is partly drawn and indicated, or where repetitions of the work are omitted, <br /> it shall be understood that the parts not fully shown or repetitions omitted, shall be a <br /> continuation of the par~s as drown. All memoranda placed upon drawings shall be <br /> finished to correspond with the work as specified. No modification of, or <br /> deviation from, the Drawings or Spe~:ifications shall be made except upon written <br /> order from the Architect. <br /> <br /> E. The contract Drawings and Specifications represent the finished work. Contractors <br /> shall provide all measures necessary to protect the structure during construction. <br /> Such measures shall include but not be limited to bracing, shoring, and loads due to <br /> construction equipment. Structure shall also be protected from damage due to water <br /> penetration. <br /> <br /> F. Construction shall comply with the 1994 Southern Building Code, Secretary of the <br /> Interior Standards for Rehabilitation, local and state requirements, statutes, ordinances, <br /> regulations, laws and codes, including all applicable provisions of the Americans <br /> With Disabilities Act (ADA), Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS), as interpreted by the <br /> Architect and Building Official of the City of Paris. <br /> <br /> (3. All Contractors shall be solely responsible for how the construction work is performed <br /> safely in, on or about the job site, methods of performance, and timeliness in the <br /> performance of work. All contractors shall indemnify, hold harmless and defend the <br /> Architect, Engineers, Construction Manager, City of Paris and Texas Department of <br /> Transportation against such related claims by the Contractor, his sub-contractors, <br /> <br /> Section 01000 <br /> Page 2-.5 <br /> <br /> <br />
