• • RESOLUTION NO. 905 A RESOLUTION ORDERING AN ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE FIRST TUESDAY IN APRIL, 1960, SAME BEING THE 5TH DAY OF APRIL, 1960, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 O2CLOCK A. M. AND 7;00 OICLOCK P. M„ BY THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING THE FOLLOWING COUNCILMEN TO SERVE AS MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE ENSUING TWO YEARS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That an election be held by the qualified voters of the City of Paris on the first Tuesday in April, 1960, same being the 5th day of April, 1960, between the hours of 8;00 oaclock A. M. and 7:00 o;clock P. M., for the purpose of electing four (4) members of the City Council of the City of Paris, follows; One Councilman From Ward One (1) One Councilma.n From Ward Two (2) One Councilman From Ward Three (3) One Councilma,n From Ward Four (4) as provided in Section 16 of Article III of the Charter of the City of Paris, adopted on November 2, 1948, and in accordance with Article IX of the Cha.rter of the City of Paris, adopted November 2, 1948, such Councilmen to serve for the ensuing two years. Section 2. That the polling places and election officials of such election shall be as follows: Ward One (1): Polling Place: Central Fire Station Officials; Mrs. R. C. Bearden , Presiding Judge Mr. R. G. Bearden , Judge Mrs. L. B. Killebrew , Clerk Mrs. R. H. Lower , Clerk Ward Two (2); Polling Place: Grand Hotel Lobby Officials; Mrs. Hugh Collins , Presiding Judge Mr_ . Hugh Collins , Judge Mrs. Bertha Hodges , Clerk Mrs. Elizabeth Tompkins , Clerk Ward Three (3); Polling Place; Lamar County Courthouse, Basernent Assembly Room. Officials; Mr. Don Wair , Presiding Judge Mr. Earl Crawford , Judge r.. Mrs. Don Wair , Clerk Mrs. Charles Roach , Clerk
