<br />Texas has heretofore requested certain ri~
<br />portion of the propertzr belonging to the City of Paris, known
<br />as the new abattoir property, adjacent to Clement Road at the
<br />Tlorth edge of the Citv of Paris, and which is fully described
<br />in proposed ri,-ht of wajT deeds bYr metes and bounds; and,
<br />:^TKEF.EAS the sarne has been requested for right of vaay
<br />in order to construct Loop No. 286 arouncl t:e Citv of Paris;
<br />and,
<br />;^IHEREAS, the City CouncilThas heretofore been advised
<br />by the City 'Manager and the City Ln?ineer that the completion
<br />of the loop on the segnler.t at this time proposed would entai.l
<br />the incasement oi the main outfall sewer line leadlr_~- i'lorth
<br />from the City of Paris and the lowerin,, of the 20" water
<br />suppl-r line leading into the City of Paris from Lake Crook
<br />anw its incasement; and,

<br />Court and officials fro:n Lamar 'uounty on Februar-i 28, 1957;

<br />Wi1E~AS, thev nave filed a cor~~plete report oi the
<br />negotiations had with the County of Lamar and have heretofore
<br />reported to this Council the results and findings oi such
<br />Committee; and,
<br />;10F,REAS, the cor,Lmittee report requests the City
<br />Council to adopt and receive said report and to authorize
<br />the necessary instruments to be executed in order to convey
<br />such right of wa;r to t"e Counts,• o.f Lamar and State o:f Texas;

<br />`,JHE~'EAS, the Council is informed in said Cor,imii,tee's
<br />report that the Commissionerst Court of Lamar Courity is with-
<br />out su£'fi-ciert and available funds to reimburse the City oi.00•
<br />Paris for the expenditure aroresaicl of approximatelZ% 3, 750 ~
<br />a nd,
<br />';JhEPEAS, the CorrLmissionerst Court has agreed to pave
<br />`.`Jest ':^lashinpton Street with an 8" compacted base street, with
<br />double aspli-talt treated surface, from the place where the Santa
<br />Fe Failroad Track crosses -rTest ':~Jashington Street to 19th
<br />Street, S. :^l., said pavem.ent to be 20 feet wide; and,
<br />',^1i-IEREAS, the County proposes to furnish all labor,
<br />materials, and machinery with which to pave said street as
<br />aforesaid, with the _f'ollowin7 exceptions . The City- of Paris
<br />agrees to furnish an asphalt distributor, water tank truck,
<br />sheepsfoot roller, a flat wheel roller, a sp.reader box, and
<br />the necessary personnel to operate the asphalt distributor;
