Steinheimer <br />City Manager <br />City of Paris <br />Paris, Texas <br />Dear Mr. 5teinheimer: <br />On January 28 the City Council opened bids on Gontract No. 2 bid <br />schedule for "cleaning and cement mortar lining of certain water <br />mains. " The work under Contract No. 2 consists of repairing the <br />various types of pavement which will be cut in the process of doing <br />the work under Contract No. l. <br />On this work one bid only was submitted by Lamar Equipment Supply <br />Company, Paris, Texas, Mr. Sam Ginsberg, President, in the sum <br />of $2, 332. 00. <br />The unit prices quoted are considered by us to be in line for work <br />of this character and we recommend the award of this contract to <br />Lamar Equipment Supply Company, conditioned upon the company <br />executing a satisfactory performance bond. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />FORREST AND COTTON <br />Gonsulting Engineers <br />T.
