City Council Meeting <br />September 10, 2001 <br />Page 11 <br /> <br />Municipal Judge of the City of Paris for a term of two (2) years, beginning <br />October 1, 2001, and ending September 30, 2003, was presented. A motion <br />was made by Mayor Pro Tem Manning, seconded by Councilman Gray, for <br />approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-149, appointing Vicki Terlap and Peggy Guthrie to serve <br />as members of the Library Advisory Board of the City of Paris for terms of <br />three (3) years, beginning July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2004, was <br />presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Councilman <br />McCarthy, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-150, reappointing John Howison to serve as Lay <br />Representative and that Jackie Alsobrook be, and she is hereby reappointed to <br />serve as Alternate Lay Representative to the Northeast Texas Library System <br />for terms of two (2) years, beginning September 1,2001, and ending August <br />31, 2003, was presented. A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Manning, <br />seconded by Councilman Plata, for approval of the resolution. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution 2001-151, resolving that the City Manager Michael E. Malone is <br />hereby charged to confirm that: (a) the winning bid to supply CAPP' s load will <br />economically benefit the City when measured against service from the affiliated <br />REP of the incumbent utility and (b) to work with CAPP in the finalization of <br />the contracting process and commitment of specific electric accounts of the <br />City to the aggregated load, was presented. A motion was made by <br />Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Plata, for approval of the <br />resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-152, approving the Lease Agreement between the City of <br />Paris and Archers for Christ, for the lease of various tracts of land surrounding <br />Lake Crook, be, and the same is hereby approved for a period of five (5) <br />consecutive one (1)year terms, subject to termination by the City annually, <br />with an option for renewal for an additional five (5) consecutive one (1) year <br /> <br /> <br />
