City Council Meeting September 10, 2001 Page 12 terms, again subject to termination by the City annually, for those tracts identified as Tract One (1) and Seven (7) therein, and for a ten (10) year term as set out therein for Tracts Two (2), Four (4), Five (5), and Six (6), as likewise identified in said lease, was presented. A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Manning, seconded by Councilman Bell, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Resolution No. 2001-153, resolving that the Mayor of the City of Paris and the County Judge of County of Lamar be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris and the County of Lamar, respectively, the Emergency Medical Services Interlocal Cooperation Contract, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Councilman Carter, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Resolution No. 2001-154, authorizing and directing the City Attorney, Larry W. Schenk, to seek informal proposals and procure legal services for the collection of delinquent taxes and to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, a Professional Service Contract for the same for a term of two (2) years, was presented. A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Manning for approval of the Resolution, and directed City Attorney Schenk to bring back his recommendation for legal services for the collection of delinquent taxes back for the City Council's approval. The motion was seconded by Councilman McCarthy and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Resolution No. 2001-155, authorizing and directing the City Manager and the City Attorney to negotiate and the City Manager to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, an Agreement for Application Services for the provision of software, equipment, and software application services for the implementation ora web-based code enforcement and permitting application with Accela, Inc., was presented. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Councilman Carter, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
