City Council Meeting <br />September 10, 2001 <br />Page 12 <br /> <br />terms, again subject to termination by the City annually, for those tracts <br />identified as Tract One (1) and Seven (7) therein, and for a ten (10) year term <br />as set out therein for Tracts Two (2), Four (4), Five (5), and Six (6), as likewise <br />identified in said lease, was presented. A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem <br />Manning, seconded by Councilman Bell, for approval of the resolution. The <br />motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-153, resolving that the Mayor of the City of Paris and the <br />County Judge of County of Lamar be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br />directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris and the County of Lamar, <br />respectively, the Emergency Medical Services Interlocal Cooperation Contract, <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by <br />Councilman Carter, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-154, authorizing and directing the City Attorney, Larry <br />W. Schenk, to seek informal proposals and procure legal services for the <br />collection of delinquent taxes and to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, a <br />Professional Service Contract for the same for a term of two (2) years, was <br />presented. A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Manning for approval of the <br />Resolution, and directed City Attorney Schenk to bring back his <br />recommendation for legal services for the collection of delinquent taxes back <br />for the City Council's approval. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />McCarthy and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-155, authorizing and directing the City Manager and the <br />City Attorney to negotiate and the City Manager to execute, on behalf of the <br />City of Paris, an Agreement for Application Services for the provision of <br />software, equipment, and software application services for the implementation <br />ora web-based code enforcement and permitting application with Accela, Inc., <br />was presented. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Bell, <br />seconded by Councilman Carter, for approval of the resolution. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br /> <br />
