Approval of minutes July 17, 2012-chairman approved with corrections. <br />��pproved by Jill Drakc scconded by Britin Bosrick. <br />4. Managers' report-Cheri Bedford <br />Cit�� is appl��ing for 2 EPA Brownfield Urants. First is for Grand "I'heater. Cleanup <br />has begun on foyer area, and a curtain has been hung and hopefully lighring will be up <br />by FoP and people can see the abatement progress. Second is for abating the <br />hazardous materials in the theater portion. Based on previous estimate this should <br />possible be �200,000. This includes lead, asbestos, and mold. Cheri can email on <br />request the information on the remaining funds from d1e original grant. The city <br />matches the 200,000 witl� 40,000 of cit�� funds. <br />Second EPA Brownfield �rant-will target buildings with hazardous materials and <br />design a clean-up plan for the building. The grant is �200,000 and is marked to target <br />downtown but ma�� be used for other businesses. It can be used for private as well as <br />public buildings. <br />1Vlatt asked to research who will bc reviewing the buildings on the brownfield <br />committee <br />�- 24 <br />
