I. 540 E Washington, Lot 3, City Block 161 <br />Owner: Salvador & Maria De Lourdes Pineda Gomez 1137 NE 7`�' Paris, TX <br />75460 <br />Robert Talley stated that no contact has been made with the property owner. <br />Robert Talley said the property is unsecure, there are no floors, no support beams, <br />and only 80% of the walls are left. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right <br />to demolish and apply a$1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Wendell Moore, seconded by Johnny Norris to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />J. 1358 W Booth, Lot 3, City Block 231-A <br />Owner: Wayne Kerby PO Box 334 Paris, TX 754�1-0334 <br />Robert Talley stated that he spoke with Mr. Kerby. <br />Robert Talley said that Mr. Kerby agrees that the structure needs to come down. <br />The property is unsecure, the roof is gone, and Mr. Kerby has contacted <br />Sanitation Solutions about demolishing the structure. Sanitation Solutions stated <br />that they are behind about 30 days and this was confirmed by Robert Talley. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 90 days to demolish if not the City has the right <br />to demolish and apply a$1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Chris Brown, seconded by Johnny Norris to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 90 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />4. Update from Code Enforcement <br />(1) Robert Talley gave the Commission several charts showing that all funds <br />have been used for demolitions. Mr. Talley stated that permission has been <br />granted to continue demolitions at this time. <br />(2) Don Wilson asked why Old Council chamber Abatement was on the <br />charts Robert Talley gave the Commission. Mr. Wilson said that they City <br />should have a maintence budget and this should not come out of the BSC <br />budget. <br />(3) Don Wilson asked what Utility Billing Internal Payment is and Robert <br />Talley answered that he would have to look into this. <br />(4) Robert Talley stated even though the budget is out of money we still have <br />15 structures that will be done by Sanitation Solution under the Landfill <br />�` 15 <br />
