GENERAL FUNCTION 1. Load tank with pump suctio~. 2. Circulate material in tank. 3. Circulate materiai in spray b r. 4. Spray at a constant desired a plication rete, regardless of variance in truck speed. 5. Return material in sprey bar to tank by pump sudion. 6. Return material in hand spr to tank by pump suction. 7. Trensfer from an outside so rce to another outside source without having material enter Distributor tank. 8. Pump material back to supp y source. 9. Automatically go from circate in spray bar to spray mode and retum to circulate without pushing material o r relief valve. It is important that the Distributor be capable of returning all material in the spray bar, hand spray and diztributing lines t the Distributor tank by means of pump suction. This function is to be accomplished wit iout reversing the asphalt pump. Provision zhall be made for easily raining the circulating system independently of the tank and for fluzhing circulating system nd pump with not more than three (3) quarts of fuel oil so as not to dilute tank content .
