Minutes of the Regular City Council Meeting <br />October 4, 2001 <br />Page 7 <br />Properties, LLP, requesting a tax abatement for an assisted living community <br />development. <br />Gary Vest, representing the Paris Economic Development Corporation, came <br />forward advising the City Council that Mr. Kammer has asked to withdraw his <br />request because he had changed his mind. <br />No action was needed on providing directions to city staff regarding a request <br />for tax abatement by S. L Management, Inc., and KG Properties, LLP. <br />City Manager Malone advised the City Council that they had been furnished <br />the minutes of the Airport Advisory Board with no action being required. <br />Mayor Pfiester declared the Public Hearing open to consider levying <br />assessments on benefitted property for a portion of the cost of the expansion of <br />the sanitary sewer line extension for the Cope Addition, Suburban Estates <br />Addition, Golden Acre Addition, and certain tracts in the E. Crow Survey along <br />Meadowlark Street, Mockingbird Street, Cope Street, Pine Mill Road, Thomas <br />Drive, and Welch Circle, thence southerly to tie into the existing City collection <br />system. <br />Shawn Napier, City Engineer, came forward presenting a plan for this project <br />and explained that it starts at the Morningside Lift Station , crosses Highway <br />82 East, and at this point it follows the lot line all the way up to Pine Mill Road. <br />Mr. Napier said in this area the city needs to obtain four large easements from <br />property owners. He said at that point the project spreads out covering Pine <br />Mill Road, and extending up Mockingbird, Meadowlark and Cope. Mr. Napier <br />said there will be an additional line going over to serve the Golden Acre Estate. <br />Mr. Napier said in reviewing the plans, he came across a few places where they <br />had missed a couple of houses and additional properties that do not have <br />houses on it at this time. <br />Mr Napier said this project will provide a sewer two way clean-out to the <br />
