Minutes of the Regular City Council Meeting October 4, 2001 Page 7 Properties, LLP, requesting a tax abatement for an assisted living community development. Gary Vest, representing the Paris Economic Development Corporation, came forward advising the City Council that Mr. Kammer has asked to withdraw his request because he had changed his mind. No action was needed on providing directions to city staff regarding a request for tax abatement by S. L Management, Inc., and KG Properties, LLP. City Manager Malone advised the City Council that they had been furnished the minutes of the Airport Advisory Board with no action being required. Mayor Pfiester declared the Public Hearing open to consider levying assessments on benefitted property for a portion of the cost of the expansion of the sanitary sewer line extension for the Cope Addition, Suburban Estates Addition, Golden Acre Addition, and certain tracts in the E. Crow Survey along Meadowlark Street, Mockingbird Street, Cope Street, Pine Mill Road, Thomas Drive, and Welch Circle, thence southerly to tie into the existing City collection system. Shawn Napier, City Engineer, came forward presenting a plan for this project and explained that it starts at the Morningside Lift Station , crosses Highway 82 East, and at this point it follows the lot line all the way up to Pine Mill Road. Mr. Napier said in this area the city needs to obtain four large easements from property owners. He said at that point the project spreads out covering Pine Mill Road, and extending up Mockingbird, Meadowlark and Cope. Mr. Napier said there will be an additional line going over to serve the Golden Acre Estate. Mr. Napier said in reviewing the plans, he came across a few places where they had missed a couple of houses and additional properties that do not have houses on it at this time.
