Tlvs chart shows that 62% <br />of the delinquent tax roll is in lawsuit, judgnent or bankruptcy. Within <br />the lawsuit stage ofthe collection process, there are several phases from <br />the initial filing of the lawsuit to judgment and ultimately, to tax sale. <br />We endeavor to obtain voluntary payment of the delinquent taxes at <br />every step of the collecrion process. <br />The chart below reflects how the total delinquent tax roll is broken out <br />by dollar range of accounts due. All of the charts include the 2000 taxes <br />that were refened for collection on July 1, 2001. All taxes shown are <br />base taaces without penalties and interest added.
