City Council Meeting <br />September 7, 2000 <br />Page 4 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2000-042 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br />ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING <br />A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT - OFFICE CENTER (PD-f) ON <br />LOT 10, CITY BLOCK 311, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GARY <br />KAMMER, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY <br />DESIGNATED AS A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT - HOUSING <br />DEVELOPMENT (PD-b); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT - OFFICE CENTER (PD-f) SO <br />ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED <br />$2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES <br />IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AND EFFECTIVE DAY OF <br />OCTOBER 1, 2000, WAS PRESENTED. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Plata, seconded by Councilman Carter, for <br />adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Pfiester declared the public hearing open to consider the petition of <br />Carla Jackson for a change in zoning from a Two-Family Dwelling District (2F) <br />to a Neighborhood Service District (NS) on Lot 7, City Block 63, being number <br />648 Tudor Street. <br />Mayor Pfiester called for opponents to appear, and Carla Jackson, 1211 Martin <br />Luther King Jr. Drive, appeared in support of her petition. Ms. Jackson said <br />she has an existing barber shop next to this lot and would like the rezoning to <br />build a larger barber shop. <br />Mayor Pfiester called for opponents to appear, none appeared, and the public <br />hearing was declared closed. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2000-043 <br />
