City Council Meeting <br />September 7, 2000 <br />Page 17 <br />Southern Oklahoma area. <br />Mark Rothfuss, 2810 Willow Bend, said he has been a member of Archers for <br />Christ for ten years and this group of people works very hard to keep away <br />people that do not live up to the rules of conduct that this club sets. Mr. <br />Rothfuss said he was requesting that the City Council extend the contract for <br />three years. <br />After discussion, a motion was made by McCarthy, seconded by Councilman <br />Carter, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2000-128, declaring as surplus certain personal property of the <br />City of Paris and revising the list of personal property previously declared as <br />surplus and shall replace Exhibit A to the Auctioneer Service Agreement with <br />Reggie McDowra Auctioneer Service as the list of surplus property to be <br />auctioned on September 23, 2000, at the Fairground Coliseum Building in <br />Paris, Texas, was presented. A motion was Councilman McCarthy, seconded <br />by Councilman Carter, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 5 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2000-129, resolving that the Owner Occupied Assistance Fund <br />Grant in the total amount of $390,000.00 be, and the same is hereby, accepted <br />to carry out the rehabilitation of owner-occupied substandard single family <br />housing units within the city limits of the City of Paris, that the City of Paris <br />does hereby commit to provide $47,000.00 in matching funds drawn from the <br />General Fund of the City of Paris, and that the Mayor of the City of Paris is <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the <br />Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs Home Program Owner <br />Occupied Assistance ContractNo. 530395, was presented. A motion was made <br />by Mayor Pro Tem Manning, seconded by Councilman Carter, for approval of <br />the resolution.
