City Council Meeting <br />January 8, 2001 <br />Page 5 <br />Mayor Pfiester called for tabulations of bids for furnishing and delivery of <br />Flexible Base Material (Red Rock) for use in the Street Division of the <br />Public Works Department, and the following bid was presented: <br />Meridian Aggregates $7.92 per ton <br />A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br />Manning, to award the bid to Meridian Aggregate for furnishing and <br />delivery of Flexible Base Material (Red Rock), in the amount of $7.92 per <br />ton for use in the Street Division of the Public Works Department. The <br />motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Pfiester called for tabulations of bids for furnishing and delivery of <br />Hot Mix Cold Laid Asphalt, Type "B" (Fine Base) Material for use in the <br />Street Division of the Public Works Department, and the following bid was <br />presented: <br />Buster Paving Company $37.00 per ton <br />A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br />Manning, to award the bid to Buster Paving for furnishing and delivery of <br />Hot Mix Cold Laid Asphalt, Type "B" (Fine Base) material, in the amount of <br />$37.00 per ton for use in the Street Division of the Public Works <br />Department.
