City Council Meeting <br />January 8, 2001 <br />Page 6 <br />Mayor Pfiester called for tabulations of bids for furnishing and delivery of <br />Hot Mix Cold Laid Asphalt Type "F" (Fine Mixture) Material for use in the <br />Street Division of the Public Works Department, and the following bid was <br />presented: <br />Bister Paving Company $37.00 per ton <br />A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br />Manning, to award the bid to Buster Paving for furnishing and delivery of <br />Hot Mix Cold Laid Asphalt, Type "F" (Fine Base) material, in the amount of <br />$37.00 per ton for use in the Street Division of the Public Works <br />Department. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Pfiester called for tabulations of bids for furnishing and delivery of <br />Portland Cement Concrete for use in the various division of the Public <br />Works Department, and the following bids were presented: <br />Coston & Son Class "A" (Five Sack) $64.00 cu. yd. <br />Class "C" (Six Sacks) $67.50 cu. yd. <br />Buster Paving Class "A" (Five Sack) $65.00 cu. yd. <br />Class "C" (Six Sacks) $69.50 cu. yd. <br />A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br />Manning, to award the bid to Coston & Son for furnishing and delivery of <br />Portland Cement Concrete (Class A), in the amount of $64.00 per cubic <br />yard and for Portland Cement Concrete (Class C), in the amount of $67.50 <br />per cubic yard for use in the various divisions of the Public Works <br />Department. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Pfiester called for tabulations of bids for furnishing and delivery of <br />Flexible Base Material (White Rock) for use in the Street Division of the <br />Public Works Department, and the following bid was presented: <br />Meridian Aggregates $8.00 per ton <br />A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br />Manning, to award the bid to Meridian Aggregates for furnishing and <br />
