The <br />motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Pfiester called for tabulations of bids for furnishing and delivery of <br />One (1) 2001 Current Model 4-Wheel Drive Tractorfor use in the Parks and <br />Rights-of-Way Division of the Public Works Department, and the following <br />bids were presented: <br />AG-Power Inc. $28,865.00 John Deere <br />Paris Farm & Ranch Center $30,372.82 Case <br />Cunningham Equipment Co. Inc. $31,840.00 Massey-Ferguson <br />LaRue New Holland $32,000.00 New Holland <br />A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br />Manning, to award the bid to AG-Power for furnishing and delivery of one <br />2001 Current Model 4-Wheel Drive Tractor, in the amount of $28,865.00 for <br />use in the Parks and Rights-of-Way Divisions of the Public Works <br />Department. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Pfiester called for tabulations of bids for furnishing and delivery of <br />(5) new 2001 model 4-Door Police Vehicles, with four (4) to be used by the <br />Police Department and (1) one to be used by the Fire Department, and the <br />following bids were presented: <br />Paris Ford - Lincoln-Mercury, Inc. <br />$102,795.00 <br />Price Ford - Lincoln-Mercury-Mazda <br />$105,797.00 <br />Houston - Galveston COG Price <br />$102,795.00 <br />A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br />Manning, to award the bid to Paris Ford - Lincoln -Mercury for furnishing <br />and delivery of (5)five new 2001 Model 4-DoorVehicles, with (4) being used <br />by the Police Department and one (1) Vehicle being used by the Fire <br />Department, in the amount of $102,795.00.
