Hospitals, commercial <br />centers, businesses, and hotels were priorities on their list to be first <br />repaired. Mr. Ogle advised the City Council that in the first days of their <br />repairs, a majority of their requests came from citizens stopping their <br />trucks out on the streets and repairs were made as they pointed them out <br />to the crews. Mr. Ogle stressed to anyone that is without service to this <br />day, there is a residential repair line at 1- 800-585-7928 and for businesses <br />1- 800- 559-7928, but at this time they believe they have nearly completed <br />the restoration of telephone service to the City of Paris. Mr. Ogle also <br />assured the City Council that Southwestern Bell had insurance that will <br />cover the cost from the ice storm. <br />City Attorney Schenk presented the following petitions for rezoning: J. R. <br />Lane, Lot 2, City Block 308, from Agricultural District to Multiple Family <br />Dwelling District No. 1; Tammie Green, Lot 34, City Block 160, from a Two <br />Family Dwelling District to a One Family Dwelling District No. 3 with <br />Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Homes. <br />Mayor Pfiester referred the petitions to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission fortheirstudy and recommendation attheirmeeting February <br />5, 2001, and before the City Council February 8, 2001. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br />MICHAEL J.
