The motion carried 6 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2000-186, reappointing Edward D. Ellis to serve as a member <br />of the Traffic Commission of the City of Paris for a term of three years, <br />beginning January 1, 2001, and ending December 31, 2003, was presented. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Plata, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, <br />for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2000-187, reappointing Dr. Gordon B. Strom, Jr., Dr. Caroline <br />Wilson, Mrs. Robert Norment, Dr. Ed Clark, and appointing Byron Muse as <br />members of the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health for terms of two years, <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Plata, seconded by <br />Councilman McCarthy, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 6 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2000-188, reappointing Reeves Hayter, Curtis Fendley, Bill <br />Coleman, and Bobby L. Myers to serve as members of the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission of the City of Paris for terms of three years beginning <br />January 1, 2001, and ending December31, 2003, was presented. A motion was <br />made by Councilman Plata, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, for approval <br />of the resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Pfiester called for consideration of and action on the Aviation Permit <br />request for J-R Aviation for Sale of Aviation Petroleum Products, Pilot <br />Training, Aircraft Rental, Maintenance Airframe, and Maintenance Power Plant. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, <br />for approval of the request for an Aviation Permit for J-R Aviation.
