City Council Minutes January 14, 2002 Page 11 THE COLLECTION OF CHARGES FOR THE RETURN OF SAID CARDS; PROVIDING FOR DEPOSIT OF FEES SO COLLECTED; AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO ENTER INTO ALL AGREEMENTS NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THIS ORDINANCE; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; PROVIDING A REPEALER; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE, WAS PRESENTED. A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Councilman Gray for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Manning, seconded by Councilman Gray to bring from the table a resolution declaring as surplus property a 1968 Mack Fire Engine Model CG611F, Serial 1063, and two old hydraulic rescue tools; approving the sale of said fire engine to Texas A&M Fire Academy for consideration that the academy allow ten (10) Paris recruits to attend basic training at one-half the regular price. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Resolution No. 2002-004, declaring as surplus property a 1968 Mack Fire Engine Model CG611F, Serial 1063, and two old hydraulic rescue tools; approving the sale of said fire engine to Texas A&M Fire Academy for consideration that the academy allow ten (10) Paris recruits to attend basic training at one-half the regular price. Resolution No. 2002-005, accepting the bids of Future Equipment, 3600 Hwy 82 East, Sherman, Texas 75090, for one (1) Model Year 2002 Extend-A-Hoe Loader for use in the Water and Sewer Division of the Public Works Department in the amount of $64,989.19 conditioned upon said vendor meeting all of the terms and specifications included in the bid documents, was presented. A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Manning, seconded by Councilman Gray, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes,
