City Council Minutes <br />January 14, 2002 <br />Page 12 <br />0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2002-006, approving the plans and specifications for the New <br />Animal Shelter Project, that such construction project be advertised for bids to <br />be received after due notice at the office of the City Manager of the City of <br />Paris, City Hall, 135 lst Street S. E., Paris, Texas, unti13:00 'clock P. M. on the <br />Sth day of February, 2002, at which time said bids will be opened in the City <br />Council Chamber, City Hall, and bids will be tabulated and presented to the <br />City Council for the purpose of letting such bid, was presented. A motion was <br />made by Mayor Pro Tem Manning, seconded by Councilman Gray, for <br />approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2002-007, changing the name of Record Park to Leon Williams <br />Park in honor of citizen Leon Williams, and the City Council does hereby direct <br />the City Manager to implement any and all necessary measures to formally <br />change the name of Record Park to Leon Williams Park, was presented. A <br />motion was made Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Gray, for <br />approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Carter, seconded by Councilman Plata, to <br />bring the resolution appointing members to the Paris-Lamar County Board of <br />Health from the table. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2002-008, reappointing Dr. Robert Moseley, and appointing <br />Vicki Bonham to serve as a members of the Paris-Lamar County Board of <br />Health for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1, 2002, and ending <br />December 31, 2003, was presented. A motion was made by Council McCarthy, <br />seconded by Councilman Bell, for approval of the resolution. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2002-009, approving the waiver of the City of Paris's eligibility <br />to apply for a Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant and designating <br />Lamar County as the recipient of the allocated amount, that the City Manager <br />
