What is an ESI number? <br />This is the electric service identification number that is used by ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of <br />Texas) to reference your account. <br />~ 5. When I receive the ESI number for a new account, what do I do with it? <br />I You will use this number when reporting outages, setting up new accounts or when making any <br />inquiries about your account/service. <br />6.
