Part 135. The contractor wili <br />not subcontract with any subcontractor where R has notice or knowiedge that the fatter <br />has been found in violation o; repulations under 24 C.F.R. Part 135 and wiil not let`any <br />subcontract unless_the subconVactor has first provided ft with a preliminary statemenf <br />of abllity to comply with the requirements of these regulations. <br />e• Compiiance with the provisions of Section 3, the reoulations sel forth in 24 C.F.R. <br />Part 135, and all applicable rules and orders of the Department issued hereunder prior <br />to the execution of the contract, shall be a condition of the federal financial assistance <br />provided to the project, binding upon the applicant or recipient tor such assistance, <br />its successors and assigns. Failure to fulfill these requirements shall subject the <br />2pplicznt or recipient, fts rantractors and subcontradors, its successors and assigns <br />to those sanctions specified by the orant or loan agreement or contract throuoh which <br />taderal assistance is provided, and to such sanctions zs are specified by 24 C.F.R. <br />Part 135, 15. <br />a• The contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant tor employment <br />because of physical or mentai handicap in regard to any position for which the <br />employee or apptirant for employment is qualified.
