MINUTES <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />MONDAY, APRIL 1, 2013 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />The Historic Preservation Commission special meeting was called to order by Paul <br />Denney, Chairman 12:00 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: Paul Denney, Britin Bostick, Ben Vaughan, <br />and David Stewart, Nancy Anderson, Laurie Redus. <br />B. The following members were absent: Douglas Cox <br />C. Also present: Cheri Bedford, Main Street Manager, Hannah Sisson <br />2. Consideration of and action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness: <br />A. 17 N.E. 2"d St. Mommy and Me- Hannah Sisson <br />Hannah Sisson presented her signage request in an updated COA to the commission. <br />Ben Vaughan asked about the blade sign on the former application. Hannah stated <br />that she decided not to do a blade sign at this time and will resubmit a new COA if <br />they determine they would actually want one. Paul Denney asked if the signage meets <br />the current ordinance, and it was determined that it did. <br />Motion made by Ben Vaughan and seconded by Nancy Anderson to approve the COA as <br />presented. Motion Carried 6-0 <br />3. No future agenda items at this time. <br />4. Motion to adjourn by Ben Vaughan and seconded by Nancy Anderson.
