PEDC Meeting
July 31, 2002
Page 5
Director Wall asked about the Industrial Park.
City Manager Malone stated that the city needs a plan from the PEDC as to how
the property is going to be developed.
Mr. Vest advised that he expects a proposal from a professional architectural
design engineering firm from Austin. They are going to give a price for
developing a master plan, a site plan, the deed restrictions, and the green belt
plan. It is sort of like a cafeteria plan where you can pick and choose.
Mr. Vest also discussed the timber that is located on the site for the Industrial
Park.
City Manager Malone advised the Board that the city would review the plan, and
to have a plan you would have to know how you are going to develop the
property, such as what trees you would want to remove. He said if you take out
protected trees, you will have to mitigate that by planting trees elsewhere.
Director Wall discussed the Hearne Street project with City Attorney Schenk.
There being no further business, President Guest adjourned the meeting.
JAY GUEST, PRESIDENT
ATTEST:
MATTIE CUNNINGHAM, CITY CLERK
