3. Desi¢n Phase - <br />a) Provide a geotechnical investigation for pavement design purposes. <br />b) Design the project, including grading, drainage, limited routine water or sewer <br />relocations and pavement section. Provide contract documents for review by legal <br />counsel, technical specifications, and an estimate of probable cost. <br />c) Review completed drawings and specifications with City and TxDOT <br />representatives, and submit to TDLR for accessibility review if required. <br />4. BfddinQ Phase - <br />a) Prepare necessary advertisement forbids, reproduce drawings and specifications for <br />bidding purposes, and distribute bidding documents to contractors requesting same. <br />b) Consult with Owner as to questions which may arise during the bidding process, and <br />issue addenda as required. <br />c) Attend the bid opening and assist in tabulation of the bids and recommendation of <br />award. <br />5. Construction Phase - <br />a) Consult with Owner and advise Owner as provided in the construction contract. <br />Review periodic contractor payment requests, prepare change orders, and provide <br />liaison with other government agencies, as required. <br />b) Review and act on shop drawings and materials submittals provided by the <br />Contractor. <br />c) Make visits to the site at intervals appropriate to the various stages of construction. <br />Daily observation would be provided by the City. <br />Our project team would include Reeves Hayter, P.E., as principal in charge. Kenneth Jones, P.E., <br />R.P.L.S. would direct the surveying activities, and either Reeves Hayter or Michael Donnan, P.E., <br />would serve as project engineer. Resumes for these persons are attached. <br />A timeline for the proposed project is attached, which is ananged to accommodate the construction <br />phase during drier months of the year. <br />Fees for various phases of the work are anticipated to be as follows: <br />l.a. <br />Right-of-Way Acquisition <br />Hourly <br />l.b. and l.c. <br />Rigltt-of-Way Acquisition <br />$18,500.00 <br />2. <br />Design Surveys <br />$3,400.00 <br />3.a. <br />Design <br />$4,000.00 <br />3.6. and 3.c. <br />Design <br />$31,386.00 <br />4. <br />Bidding <br />$5,900.00 <br />5. <br />Construction <br />$19,630.00 <br />
