on repairing the property. If it doesn't make economic sense to repair the house <br />the will contact Mr. Talley and he will have the house demolished. He asked for <br />90 days to repair the house. Mr. Wilson questioned the stability of the roof and <br />Mr. Lecornec stated that it was in pretty good shape for a house that old. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 90 days to repair, if not the property will <br />be brought back to the Buildings and Standards Commission. Motion carried <br />unanimously. 5-0 <br />Motion was made by Wendell Moore, seconded by Johnny Norris to allow <br />Michael Lecornec 90 days to decide if repairs are economically possible and <br />to start the repair process. This property will come before BSC in July 2013 <br />for review. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />Request was made by Robert Talley to move to item 3. O., 945 W. Cherry, City Block 51, Lot 1 <br />Owner: Kenneth Frierson PO Box 41 l, Paris, TX 75461 <br />Present: Kenneth Frierson -$1019.43 owed in back taxes <br />Robert Talley showed pictures of large holes in the roof at the front porch and at <br />the back of the house. The carport is collapsing and the house is unsecure. There <br />is also junk and rubbish throughout the property as well as high grass and weeds. <br />Mr. Frierson stated that this was his mother's house and he would like to fix it up <br />but he needs some time. It needs a new roof and he has spoken to some <br />contractors and is getting a carpenter's estimate. Mr. Wilson stated that the <br />property looked like it needs a substantial amount of work and asked Mr. Frierson <br />if he was committed to the time and money it was going to take. Mrs. Ballard <br />asked what sort of time frame was Mr. Frierson looking at. Mr. Frierson stated <br />that he and Mr. Talley discussed 90 days. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Vicky Ballard to give Mr. <br />Frierson 90 days to repair the property. <br />Mr. Talley stated that he would like the give Mr. Frierson 2 weeks to secure the <br />property. Mr. Wilson also stated that the property needed to be cleaned up of all <br />junk and rubbish and it needed to be mowed. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris to rescind his previous motion, seconded <br />by Vicky Ballard. Motion to rescind was carried unanimously 5-0 <br />New motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Vicky Ballard to give <br />Kenneth Frierson 2 weeks to secure the property and clean it of all junk and <br />rubbish and mow all grass and weeds. Also, to give Mr. Frierson 90 to repair <br />property if not the property will be brought back to the Buildings and <br />Standards Commission. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />Request was made by Robert Talley to move to item 3. M., 625 W <br />__ 21 <br />
