Assist with all phases of protective orders and other legal matters relating to Family <br />Haven clients within the city of Paris. <br /> <br />Coordinate with the Paris Police Department on needs assessment and cross training <br />for law enforcement and Family Haven staff and volunteers. <br /> <br />Act as primary liaison with all criminal justice offices concerning victims of violent <br />crime within the city of Paris. <br /> <br />Be on-call as needed; conduct individual counseling with victims, including crisis <br />intervention, goal setting, and referral to other social service agencies and the criminal <br />justice system, as needed. These services include individual, group, and telephone <br />counseling sessions, as well as providing assistance in obtaining Victims <br />Compensation; conducting or arranging for counseling of other family members as <br />requested; completing and maintaining all required forms and case notes relating to <br />Family Haven clients. <br /> <br />Assist with public education and public relation efforts of Family Haven within the <br />city of Paris. <br /> <br />The goal of the Crimes Against Women Unit is to reduce total crimes against <br />women/domestic violence by ten percent (10%) during the grant period. A quarterly <br />review of the status of the goals will be held by Family Haven and the Paris Police <br />Department. <br /> <br />Payment for the above to Family Haven will not exceed $23,483.00 annually and will be on <br />a reimbursement basis payable in a quarterly amount as show below: <br /> <br />December 2002, January 2003, and February 2002 to be paid on March 1, 2003 <br />($7,827.67) <br /> <br />B. March 2003, April 2003, and May 2003 to be paid on June 1, 2001 ($7,827.67) <br /> <br />C. June 2003, July 2003, and August 2003 to be paid on September 1, 2003 ($7,827.66) <br /> <br />Billing for the above will be provided in the same manner as it would be provided for <br />customary purchases in the absence of a grant and shall consist of a statement of the service <br />or other items provided and the basis for the billing rate. Family Haven will submit to the City <br />of Paris an itemized bill for services rendered, travel expenses, and supply costs under the <br />grant agreement. <br /> <br />In the event of a default by Family Haven, the City of Paris may cancel or suspend the <br />contract and Family Haven shall be entitled to recover for all services provided or materials <br />delivered prior to the cancellation date (or unused materials may be returned) and shall repay <br />any funds advanced for services not yet rendered. <br /> <br /> <br />
