§ 6-27 PARIS CODE <br /> <br />Sec. 6-27. Flight training activities. <br /> <br /> The following standards shall apply to the con- <br />duct of flight training activities on Cox Field: <br /> <br /> (1) The Gperator must provide, on a full-time <br /> basis, personnel and equipment appropri- <br /> ate to the types of training planned. <br /> <br /> (2) The operator must make available a num- <br /> bet of aircraft of specific types, compatible <br /> with proposed training. <br /> <br /> (3) The operator must provide classroom space <br /> for ground school training. <br /> <br /> (4) The operator must meet certification re- <br /> quirements of the Federal Aviation Admin- <br /> istration to conduct the proposed training. <br />(Code 1970, § 6-20) <br /> <br />Sec. 6-28. Aircraft charter and taxi service. <br /> <br /> The following standards shall apply to aircraft <br />charter and taxi service supplied or furnished at <br />Cox Field: <br /> <br />(1) FAR 135 must be complied with. <br /> <br />(2) The operator must provide assurance of the <br /> availability of suitable aircraft, with quali- <br /> fied operators, ready to depart within a spec- <br /> ified maximum notice period of twelve (12) <br /> hours. <br /> <br /> (3) The operator must provide satisfactory ar- <br /> rangements for checking passengers, han- <br /> dling luggage, ticketing and ground trans- <br /> portation. <br />(Code 1970, § 6-23) <br /> <br />Sec. 6-29. Crop dusting and spraying. <br /> <br /> The following standards shall apply to crop dust- <br />ing and spraying operations conducted from Cox <br />Field: <br /> <br />(1) The operator must make suitable arrange- <br /> ments for the safe storage and containment <br /> of noxious chemical material. <br /> <br />(2) The operator must provide aircraft suita- <br /> bly equipped for agricultural operations with <br /> adequate safeguards against spillage on run- <br /> ways and taxiways, or dispersal by wind <br /> forC~ to other operational areas of the airport. <br /> <br />432 <br /> <br /> (3) All empty cans, barrels, sacks or other con- <br /> tainers that result from the agricultural <br /> operations must be placed in containers and <br /> disposed of in a reasonable length of time. <br />(Code 1970, § 6-24) <br /> <br />Sec. 6-30. Aircraft rental and sale. <br /> <br />The following standards shall apply to the sale <br />or rental of aircraft at Cox Field: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />The operakor must have a sales or distribu- <br />torship franchise from an aircraft manu- <br />facturer for new aircraft, or adequate sources <br />of used aircraft. <br /> <br /> (2) The operator must provide suitable sales <br /> and office facilities, leased, rented or con- <br /> structed on the airport property., <br /> <br /> (3) The operator must provide arrangements <br /> at Cox Field for the repair and servicing of <br /> sales aircraft during the sa]es guarantee. <br /> <br /> (4) The operator must provide a stock of spare <br /> parts for the principal aircraft types for <br /> which sales privileges are granted. <br />(Code 1970, § 6-25) <br /> <br />Sec. 6-31. Aircraft, engine and accessory <br /> maintenance. <br /> <br /> The following standards shall apply to the fur- <br />nishing of aircraft, engine and accessory mainte- <br />nance service on Cox Field: <br /> <br /> (1) The operator must provide minimum han- <br /> gar, shop and storage space as prescribed <br /> by the City. <br /> <br /> (2) The operator must make available repairmen <br /> and mechanics in such fields as airframe <br /> and engine maintenance requires. <br />(Code 1970, § 6-26) <br /> <br />Sec. 6-32. Airport tenant self-service fueling. <br /> <br /> The following standards shall apply to a tenant <br />at Cox Field who has a current lease with the <br />City and desires to self-fuel his own airplane or <br />airplanes: <br /> <br /> (11 The self-fueler must have a current hangar <br /> lease with the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
