8. Presentation of thank you letter to Lamar County Chamber of
Commerce for airport brochure:

Mr. Haynes presented a copy of a thank you letter sent to Mr. Gary
Vest of Lamar County Chamber of Commerce. Victor Abeles read a
letter of thanks to J.R. Aviation from C.P. Crossno and Associates
thanking them for their assistance when their plane had a battery
problem. They had checked Grayson County Airport and Mesquite
Airport and neither FBO had a battery. J.R. Aviation had a battery and
this speaks well for the FBO at Cox Field.

9. Discussion of mowing around private hangars:

Mr. Haynes reported that we have a new mowing service. Previous
mowing services had worked with Jim Collier to swap mowing services
so that we could get mowing around hangars done since we do not have
the equipment to do so. Mr. Haynes advised the Board that he would
speak personally with the person in charge of mowing and have him
meet with Jim Collier to work something out. Vic Ressler moved that
we table the item, seconded by J.W. Ashmore. Motion passed
unanimously.

10. The meeting adjourned at 6:30 P.M.

Thomas E. Haynes, Recorder
