Professional Experience Mr. Shaw has more than 30 years of experience specializing in management consulting related to public infrastrudure including water, wastewater, solid wasle and storm water. He specializes in financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, asset management, in[ormation systems technology, operations management, organizational analysis, performance measurement and henchmarking. Mr. Shaw has performed more than 100 related financial analyses of utilities including rate studies, financial modeling, and review of impad and special fees. Mr. Shaw formerly directed KPMG Peat Marwick LLP's consulting services to government owned utilities from 1980 lhrough 1995. Before joining KPMG in 1980, Mr. Shaw was employed at a major metropolitan wale[ and wastewater utility as a Special Projeds Manager and as the Assistant DJ[eclat of Business where he supervised aJJ accounting, finance, rate, meter, information system, cuslomer service and budget adivities. Since, 1980, Mr. Shaw has completed an average of 40 hours per year of haining [ocusing on government and utilih/services, covering the fundions of financial management, information systems and operations management. He has been an adive participanl in AWWA activities since 1975.
