Paris Municipal Band Commission Minutes <br />March 17, 2003 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />employment, Mr. Neugent requested independent contractor status and therefore <br />no taxes would be paid on his behalf. Mr. Neugent acknowledged his <br />satisfaction with this arrangement. <br /> <br />Discussion regarding setting up and tearing down before and after band concerts <br />was discussed with Terry Townsend. It was agreed that these duties will be <br />handled as in the past, with the Band handling the arrangements. <br /> <br />Commissioners' terms were reviewed. Randy Bunch, Linda Suarez and Albert <br />Nichol are currently serving the last year of their two-year term. James Brunette <br />and Edmond Castleberry have one year remaining in their term. On a motion by <br />James Brunette, seconded by Albert Nichol, the commission unanimously voted <br />to recommend that Randy Bunch, Linda Suarez and Albert Nichol be reappointed <br />to another two-year term at the end of this one. James Brunette stated that <br />neither he nor Edmond Castleberry will seek reappointment once their terms <br />expire. <br /> <br />The next meeting of the Paris Municipal Band Commission will be held on <br />Thursday, May 15, 2003 in the Chamber of Commerce executive boardroom at <br />12 noon. <br /> <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Linda Su Suarez, Secretary <br />Paris Municipal Band Commission <br /> <br /> <br />
