Animal Shelter Change Order Items <br /> <br />1. Entry ceiling - No provision was in the plans to install a hard deck surface over the <br /> entryway area. <br /> <br />2. Stud walls to CMU - A small wall in the dog mn area was listed to be sheetrock, this will <br /> change that portion to CMU blocks. <br /> <br />3. Insulated glass - This is a requirement from the Uniform Building Code (UBC). <br /> <br />4. Test hole excavation - This was done due to the fact that this was a dumpsite from the <br /> 1916 Paris fire. Two areas of debris were encountered and removed. <br /> <br />5. Added Floor Drain - a floor drain was added in the euthanasia room. <br /> <br />6. Slab fill change - a select material was used to backfill the entire slab area, the e~cavated <br /> test holes and compacted. This area is beneath the sand pad <br /> <br />7. Added window - this window will be in the reception area. <br /> <br />8. Concrete at trenches - this is to provide U-shaped rebar in the trench drains. <br /> <br />9. Steel deck - This is to provide a hard surface over the personnel portion of the building. <br /> <br /> 10. The additional wall height is to separate the quarantine areas, operating room and <br /> personal areas from the regular kennel areas. <br /> <br /> <br />
