ERI Consulting, Inc. <br /> <br /> 3.7.5.3 Waste containers shall be placed on the ground at the disposal <br /> site, not pushed or thrown out of trucks. <br /> <br /> 3.7.5.4 Personnel off-loading containers at the disposal site shall <br /> wear protective equipment consisting of disposable head, body <br /> and foot protection and, at a minimum, half-facepiece, air- <br /> purifying, dual cartridge respirators equipped with HEPA <br /> filters. <br /> <br /> 3.7.5.5 Following the removal of all containerized waste, the truck <br /> cargo area shall be decontaminated using HEPA vacuums and/or <br /> wet methods to meet the no visible residue criteria. <br /> Polyethylene sheeting shall be removed and discarded along <br /> with contaminated cleaning materials and protective clothing, <br /> in bags or drums at the disposal site. <br /> <br />3.8 Reestablishment of the Work Area and System~ <br /> <br /> 3.8.1 Upon passing clearance testing in accordance with Scope of Work, the <br /> contractor shall dismantle the containment and reestablish the work <br /> area. Any damages caused as a result of the contractor's activities <br /> shall be repaired as directed by the Owner. The Owner may elect at <br /> their option to make their own repairs and withhold the cost for such <br /> repairs from the monies due the contractor. <br /> <br /> 3.8.2 Polyethylene barriers shall be removed from walls and floors at this <br /> time, maintaining decontamination enclosure systems and barriers over <br /> doors, windows, etc. as required. <br /> <br /> 3.8.3 The Contractor and Owner shall visually inspect the work area for any <br /> remaining visible residue. Evidence of contamination will <br /> necessitate additional cleaning requirements in accordance with <br /> Section 3.5. <br /> <br /> 3.8.4 Additional air monitoring shall be performed in accordance with <br /> Section 3.6 if additional clean-up is necessary. <br /> <br /> 3.8.5 Following satisfactory clearance of the work area, remaining <br /> polyethylene barriers may be removed and disposed of as asbestos <br /> contaminated waste. <br /> <br /> 3.8.6 At the discretion of the Contractor, mandatory requirements for <br /> personal protective equipment may be waived following the re~val of <br /> all barriers. <br /> <br /> 3.8.7 Resecure mounted objects removed from their former positions during <br /> area preparation activities. <br /> <br /> 3.8.8 Replace objects that were removed to temporary locations hack to <br /> their original positions. <br /> <br /> 3.8.9 Reestablish HVAC mechanical and electrical systems in proper working <br /> order.
