ERI Consulting, Inc. <br /> <br /> and coordinated each Shop Drawing and Samp. le with the requirements <br /> of the Work and of the Contract Documents and he shall so certify <br /> as required by paragraph 5.14.3. <br /> <br /> 5.14.6 The Engineer/Project Manager, or the Owner if required by <br /> Supplemental Conditions, will review and approve the Shop Drawings <br /> and Samples with reasonable promptness, but only for conformance <br /> with the design concept of the Project and with the information <br /> <br />-- given in the Contract Documents. The approval of a separate item <br />shall not indicate approval of an assembly in which the item <br />functions. The approval of the Shop Drawings or Samples shall not <br />relieve the Contractor of responsibility for any deviation from <br />the requirements of the Contract Documents unless the Contractor <br />has informed the Engineer/Project M~er in writing of such <br />deviation at the time of submission and the Engineer/Project <br />Manager has not objected to the specific deviation. The approval <br />shall not relieve the Contractor from responsibility for errors or <br />- omissions in the Shop Drawings or Samples. <br /> <br /> 5.14.7 The Contractor shall make any corrections required and shall <br /> resubmit the required number of corrected copies of the Shop <br /> Drawings or new Samples of materials until approved. The <br /> Contractor shall direct specific attention in writing to any new <br /> revisions other than the corrections requested on previous <br /> submissions. <br /> <br /> 5.14.8 No work requiring a Shop Drawing or Sa~rple submission shall be <br /> commenced until the submission has been approved. All such work <br /> <br />-- shall be in accordance with approved Shop Drawings and Samples. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE VI. CONTRACT CHANGES <br /> <br /> 6.1 CX~NGE ORDERS: A Change Order is a written order to the Contractor signed <br /> by the Ovrner and the Engineer/Project Manager issued after execution of the <br /> Contract, authorizing a change in the Work or a/~ adjustment in the Contract <br /> Sum or the Contract Time. The Contract Sum and t_he Contract Time may be <br />-- changed only by Change Order. A Change Order si~ned by the Contractor <br /> indicates his agreement therewith, including the adjustment in the Contract <br />-- Sum or the Contract Time. <br /> 6.1.1 The Owner, without invalidating the Contract, may order changes in <br /> the Work within the general scope of the Contract consisting of <br /> additions, deletions or other revisions, the Contract Sum and the <br /> <br /> <br />
