Arrangements must be made prior to start, for <br /> relocation of desks, files, equipment and personal <br /> possessions to avoid unauthorized access into the work <br /> area. (Note: Notification of all building occupants and <br /> users is recommended in order to prevent unnecessary or <br /> unauthorized access to the contaminated work area). <br /> <br /> 1.4.2.1.2 Submit to the Contractor, results of pre-abatement air <br /> sampling including location of samples, names of the Air <br /> Sampling Professional, equipment utilized and method of <br /> analysis. <br /> <br /> 1.4.2.1.3 Document that Owner's employees or representative who will <br /> be required to enter the work area during abatement have <br /> received training equal to that detailed in Part 4, <br /> Section 4.1. <br /> <br /> 1.4.2.1.4 Provide to the Contractor information concerning access, <br /> shutdown and protection requirements of specialized <br /> equipment and systems in the work area. <br /> <br /> 1.4.2.2 During Abatement <br /> <br /> 1.4.2.2.1 Submit to the Contractor, results of bulk material <br /> analysis and air sampling data collected during the course <br /> of the abatement. These sample results are for <br /> information only. They serve only to monitor Contractor <br /> performance during the project and shall not release the <br /> Contractor from any responsibility to sample to document <br /> OSHA compliance. <br /> <br />1.5 Site Sscurity <br /> <br /> 1.5.1 The work area is to be restricted only to authorized, trained, and <br /> protected personnel.
