TARIFF FOR GAS SERVICE TXU GAS COMPANY <br /> <br />RATE SCHEDULE: 22 Service Rules and Regulations - Gas Service <br /> <br />APPLICABLE TO: Distribution System REVISION: 0 <br /> DATE: <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: PAGE: 1 of 10 <br /> <br /> Gas Service <br /> <br /> A. Availability of Gas Service <br /> Customer requests for Gas Service of the character and type provided by Company are granted <br /> within the limitations of the applicable Rate Schedule for Gas Service, the availability of Company <br /> facilities and capacity, and these Service Regulations. Company may require special contractual <br /> arrangements, which may include additional charges, prior to Company's providing Gas Service if <br /> the Gas Service requested by Customer is not available at the Point of Delivery, is other than that <br /> which Company usually provides, or if the service requested is not adequately compensated for <br /> by the applicable Rate Schedule. <br /> <br /> B. Gas Service to Apartment Houses, Mobile Homes, or Other Multiple-Party Points <br /> <br /> (1) Apartment House <br /> Company will provide Gas Service through an individual Meter to each Dwelling Unit or <br /> through one Meter at each Point of Delivery for any number of Dwelling Units in the same <br /> Apartment House. Where Gas Service is provided using individual metering for each <br /> Dwelling Unit, Customer will group and identify Meters in a manner and at locations <br /> suitable to Company. <br /> <br /> (2) Mobile Homes <br /> Company may provide Gas Service through an individual Meter to each space in a <br /> mobile home park and Customer will group and identify Meters in a manner and at <br /> locations suitable to Company. <br /> <br /> (3) Other Multiple-Party Points <br /> Company may provide Gas Service to a new Customer through gas facilities owned by <br /> an existing Customer, with the consent of the existing Customer. In such event, the <br /> metered gas usage registered on the existing Customer's Meter will be reduced by an <br /> appropriate amount to recognize the usage of the new Customer. <br /> <br /> Under this method of service, the new Customer, the existing Customer, and Company <br /> will complete an agreement setting forth the responsibilities of each party. <br /> <br /> C, Maine and Service Lines <br /> <br /> (1) Company's Mains <br /> Company will extend its Gas Mains for Customer in accordance with Rate LEP - Line <br /> Extension Policy. <br /> <br /> (2) Service Lines <br /> Company will extend its Service Lines for Customer in accordance with Rate LEP - Line <br /> Extension Policy. Company will furnish, install, and maintain the Service Lines <br /> connecting Company's distribution system to the Meter at the Point of Delivery. Where <br /> Customer installs or plans to install obstructions (asphalt or concrete walk, driveway, <br /> retaining wall, paved parking lot, etc.) in the path of Company's Service Lines, Company <br /> may require Customer to reimburse Company for any additional costs incurred in the <br /> installation or relocation of the Service Lines as a result of any such obstruction. <br /> <br /> <br />
