SHOULD THE COMMISSION WISH TO CONSIDER <br /> THIS MATTER TODAY, A MOTION TO BRING THIS ITEM FROM <br /> THE TABLE IS REQUIRED. <br /> <br /> Motion was made to bring item from the table by Bobby Myers, <br /> seconded by Carl Lucas. Motion carried by a vote of 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br /> David Glass spoke in favor of the petition stating that this property is <br /> the only Single Family zoning on Lamar and he would like to bring this <br /> property in compliance with the rest of the neighborhood. <br /> <br /> Steve Methven stated that everything all around the property is of some <br /> higher zoning. There was a house there at one time but no one will <br /> probably ever build a home there, therefore, Commercial zoning is <br /> proper. <br /> <br /> There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br /> <br />5. Consideration of and action on the petition of David Glass for a change <br /> in zoning from a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF-2) to a <br /> Commercial District (C), Lot 1, City Block 249, being number 2404 <br /> Lamar. <br /> <br /> Motion was made to approve the petition by Bobby Myers, seconded <br /> by Cleveland Thomas. Motion carried by a vote of 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />6.
