City of Paris Histor/c Resources Survey 2003 <br /> Phase 1 - Page 4 <br /> <br /> HIGH PRIORITY - Contributes significantly to local history or broader historical <br /> patterns; is an outstanding or unique example of architecture, engineering or crafted <br /> design; and retains a significant portion of its original character and contextual integrity. <br /> <br /> MEDIUM PRIORITY - Contributes to local history or broader historical patterns, but <br /> alterations have diminished its integrity; is a good but typical example of architecture, <br /> engineering or crafted design; is a good but altered illustration of a common local <br /> building form, architectural style or type. <br /> <br />LOW PRIORITY - Typifies a common local building form, architectural style or type, <br />with little or no identified historic associations; is a moderate to severely altered resource <br />that exemplifies a distinctive building type or architectural style, or that has only minor <br />historic significance. <br /> <br />Task 3 - Survey Reports <br /> <br />Task 3.1 -- Survey Overview Report <br />A summary of the Survey findings will be prepared, which will include statistical data <br />regarding the survey's results, a detailed description of the survey boundaries, <br />methodology, context and historical information. <br /> <br />Task 3.2 -- Presentation of Comprehensive Data Collection <br />All photographs, photo index sheets and survey forms will be assembled and organized <br />for final presentation. A CD and print-outs of all electronic images will be provided with <br />the report. <br /> <br />The ARCHITEXAS team will be available to make appropriate presentations of the <br />survey findings and report on a previously-arranged basis. As stated earlier, public <br />meetings and input are an important part of the survey process. <br /> <br />All electronic data collected will be forwarded to the Texas Historical Commission for <br />inclusion in the Texas Historic Sites Atlas. <br /> <br />Task 4 - City of Paris }Iistoric Preservation Plan <br /> <br />Task 4.1 - Public Education/Outreach <br /> <br />Under the direction and guidance of the PHPC, ARCHITEXAS will conduct a <br />predetermined number of meetings to educate governmental and community groups <br />about the findings of the survey and the Preservation Planning Process. For the purpose <br />of this proposal, one such meeting is included. Additional meetings may be conducted at <br />the request of the PHPC for an additional fee. <br /> <br /> <br />
