Public Hearing to consider the Site Plan of Mirabeau Shopping Center, located in the 3500 block of Lamar Avenue. The public hearing was declared open. John Kirkman, 4010 Jasmine, Manager of Belk Department Store, spoke in favor to "not allow left turn onto Lamar" from Shopping Center. T.K. Haynes, City Attorney, addressed Planning and Zoning regarding a meeting with some business owners who perceived that customers were being inconvenienced with poor traffic flow. Not all businesses were in favor of a change. Four out of 12 owners were not in favor_ Sheryl Vanderburg, 1761 Ballard, had an accident turning into Shopping Center. She suggested that a traffic control light be installed.
