Regular City Council Meeting <br />June 16, 2003 <br />Page 28 <br /> <br />for performing all work required for grounds maintenance (mowing) on City of <br />Paris Parks and Facilities to Good Tree Service in the amount of $38,000.00, <br />was presented. <br /> <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Weekly, seconded by <br />Councilman Plata, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 1 <br />nay, Councilman Bell voting no. <br /> <br />Mayor Neeley advised that Agenda Item No. 4D, a resolution approving the sale <br />of tax delinquent property described as Lot 6, City Block 355, being number <br />2015, Loop 286 N.W., had been tabled and a motion was needed to bring it <br />from the table. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Neeley asked to be excused from the meeting due to a conflict <br />of interest. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Councilman Weekly, to <br />excuse Councilwoman Neeley and to bring the above item from the table. The <br />motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />City Attorney Schenk advised that the instruction they had was to check and see <br />if there was a bid from the Girl Scouts and in the packet of material were <br />resolutions to award the sale of the property to the original bidder or to award <br />that sale to the Girls Scouts. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem McCarthy to have the resolution for Mr. <br />Roberts read. The motion was seconded by Councilman Guest and carried 7 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2003-111, approving the sale of tax delinquent property <br />described as Lot 6, City Block 355 being number 2015 Lop 286 N.W. to H. B. <br />Roberts, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Guest, seconded <br />by Councilman Weekly, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 6 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br /> <br />
