Regular City Council Meeting <br />June 16, 2003 <br />Page 29 <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem McCarthy, seconded by Councilman <br />Weekly, to allow Councilman Neeley to return to the council meeting. The <br />motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2003-112, reappointing Patrick Brown and Ward Hall to serve <br />as alternate members of the Building and Standards Commission of the City of <br />Paris for terms of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 2003 and ending June 30, <br />2005, was presented. A motion was made by Councilwoman Neeley, seconded <br />by Mayor Pro Tem McCarthy, for approval of the resolution. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Agenda Item No. 4.F, appointing members to the Board of Adjustment and <br />Agenda Item No. 4G were left on the table. <br /> <br />Mayor Fendley advised that Agenda Item No. 5.A, an ordinance amending the <br />Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris by revising subsections (b) and (c) of <br />Section 34-22 thereof to establish water rates for residential, commercial, and <br />industrial customers that are based upon the cost to serve each class, and <br />revising subsections (a), (b), and (c) of Section 34-23 to establish a sewer <br />service rate for City water customers, had been tabled and a motion is needed <br />to bring it from the table. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem McCarthy, seconded by Councilwoman <br />Neeley, to bring the above item from the table. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 <br />nays. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2003-024 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY <br />OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SUBSECTIONS (b) AND (c) OF <br />SECTION 34-22 OF SAID CODE TO ESTABLISH WATER RATES FOR <br />RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL, AND INDUSTRIAL CUSTOMERS THAT <br />ARE BASED UPON THE COST TO SERVE EACH CLASS; BY REVISING <br /> <br /> <br />
