and 141 vehicles for north and south bound traffic. After discussion it was <br />determined that a four way stop sign would not enhance the safety of this <br />intersection. Mr. Shiver made a motion to deny the request for a four way stop <br />sign at 8th NE & Pine Bluff. Mr. McCarthy second the motion and it carried 5 -0. <br />Mr. Kohls then moved to item #5 regarding any Old Business items. Mr. Shiver <br />had a question as to the status of the crosswalk approved on Jefferson Road at <br />Southside Baptist Church. Mr. Tuttle informed members that the church needed <br />to install ADA ramps for the crosswalk and that had not been done. Mr. Shiver <br />also asked about the signage in the curve at Old Jefferson Rd and Jefferson Rd. <br />Mr. Tuttle informed members that signage had been installed in the curve by <br />Traffic Department. Mr. Shiver also inquired about the crossover on SE Loop <br />near Paris Town Center. Members were informed that TXDOT and the City <br />Engineers office were working on the issue. <br />Mr. Kohls then moved to item #6 regarding any future agenda items. Mr. Kohls <br />informed members that he had a request from a citizen that the city explore the <br />possibility of installing a traffic light at N. Collegiate and Pine Mill Road due to <br />heavy traffic at the intersection. Mr. Tuttle informed members this would be <br />placed on the next agenda. There were no other future agenda items. <br />Mr. Kohls then moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:35pm. Mr. McCarthy made the <br />motion and was second by Mr. Shiver. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />
